3. Purpose
To build new, high-quality capacity and secure long-term sustainability and enhanced outcomes in research and teaching at senior lecturer level amongst nurses, midwives, allied health professionals .
Both institutions need to agree to provide permanent contracts beyond the duration of the award

4. Person specification
At least 5 years clinical experience & clinical leadership
HPC registration
PhD (research not professional doctorate)
Evidence of a research record including a strong publication record, and evidence of successful grant applications and the ability to lead research teams
Propose a programme of research that falls within the aims and remit of the NIHR
