SUPER - T6 (Short slide version)
TRIUMF - University of Victoria LAr week March, 2010 Objective: Remove the HEC-1 & HEC-2 modules in order to replace circuit boards located circumferentially on the HEC modules. Provide a stable platform to facilitate FCal handling and servicing. Requirements: Provide supporting structure for the HEC modules and FCal removal tooling. Incorporate a coordinated push/pull mechanism to manipulate HEC modules. Allow for worker access to key parts of the modules to facilitate circuit board replacement. Place suitable radiation shielding and/or exclusion barriers to reduce over exposure and protect workers. Have a clean room with a removable roof and change room incorporated onto T6.
