Declared that the U.S.A was an international police power in the Western Hemisphere. And that Non Western Hemisphere Countries were to stay out of the Western Hemisphere!
Great White Fleet – U.S. Navy toured the world to show the world that the U.S.A. was not playing around and that it would ENFORCE the Roosevelt Corollary!
Roosevelt said it took too long for the Navy to travel around the tip of South America to get to the Pacific Ocean from the East Coast. A SHORTCUT WAS NEEDED!
