2 Introduction I’ve been asked to create a presentation to describe the uses and features of two different multimedia products. I’ve decided to use an advert for the linear product, and a website for the interactive product.

Category-Autos & Vehicles The purpose of the product is to introduce the new Audi to the audience. The advert includes different features to make sure it draws the attention. Features: Text used to introduce the car in detail. It makes the advert more accessible for people with hearing limitations. HD quality. The audience can change the quality of the video. Theater mode. Users are able to view the avert in a different mode. Ability to play the advert on a large screen such as tv. Music in the background. The song makes the advert interesting and it changes the audience’s mood.

6 Does it fit for purpose? The advert introduces a brand new Audi car. The advert encourages the audience to buy it. The video contains music, special effects of the rain and slow motion and text. The advert tells the audience about the good sides of the car and about the features. The text in the video is easy to read however it disappears quite quickly which might be a problem for people with reading difficulties. The sound is in a high quality so people with hearing difficulties could hear the music playing at the background.

The purpose of this website to advertise Apple products and to make people want to buy them. The website works as an online shop, the visitor can easily view all the products and read information about them. They can also buy their products. The website also sell product from different companies. The Features: The search bar – visitor can easily search for information and electronic products The Support section Ability to make a personal account where the visitor can manage their accounts The “Bag” feature allows visitors to save products they’ve chosen to buy Easy to find products as the navigation bar is divided into section of different prodcts

8 Screenshots The navigation bar with the search bar and “Bag” feature. There are also sections of different products. The font size makes it easy to read and the design is clear to the visitor. The main page advertise new flag-ship models of the latest products that the company wants to sell to the visitors.

9 Screenshots The “Bag” feature contains Account settings and feature to make a new account. The Support feature allows the visitor to get help and to find answers to any queries they might have.

10 Does it fit for purpose? Apple’s website is incredibly easy to navigate. The first thing the visitor can see is an advert of a new product, then the navigation bar with all the most important features. The contrast on the page makes the text easy to see and read even for those who are partially sighted. Unfortunately the website does not have an option of reading the text to the visitors so blind people can’t view the page at all. The website also contains a Support section where they will find answers to their questions and get help with any problems.
