CONFLICT: A struggle or clash between opposing characters, forces, or emotions. Obstacles that prevent a character from reaching his/her goal. Can be internal (person v. self) or external (person v. person, nature, society).

RESOLUTION: The opposing characters work out their problems.
The opposing force or element is somehow negated or dealt with. The obstacle is removed or managed in some way.

Your Turn! 1. Look at the moral you chose for your tale.
2. Brainstorm a list of at least three different conflicts that a person could go through that would help them learn this lesson. 3. Create a resolution for each conflict.
