1 Standing on the Promises of God God’s Provision
I Timothy 6:6-10 Philippians 4:19

2 II Peter 1:4 (KJV) Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

3 I Timothy 6:6-10 (KJV) But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

4 Philippians 4:19 (KJV) But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

5 The Problems with the Health/Wealth Gospel
They Have a Wrong Perception of God They Have a Wrong Perception of the Believer They Have A Wrong Perception of Jesus Christ They Have a Wrong Perception of Biblical Faith (how to be saved)

6 This Promise Is Personal This Promise Is Provisional
“But my God…” This Promise Is Provisional “shall supply…” This Promise Is Conditional “all your needs…” This Promise Is Inconceivable “according to His riches in glory…” This Promise Is Relational “by Christ Jesus.”
