13 Exercise (2) Icebreaker: BLOBS & LINES
Separate into three (3) groups: Those who have LOTS of chores at home. Those who have A FEW chores at home. Those who have NO chores at home. In each of the groups, move the class chairs to form two circles, an inner circle and an outer circle. The inner circle should face the outer circle so each student is facing someone.

14 Exercise (2) Icebreaker: BLOBS & LINES
Each student will ask the student they are facing the following questions (write down the answers you receive so you can share them with the class): Do you play any sports? If so, which ones? Do you consider yourself shy or outgoing? Why? What was the last movie you saw? Did you like it? If so, what did you like about it? Describe your perfect dinner. What would you do with a million dollars? What is one thing you’re good at? The inner circle will ask the outer circle then the outer circle will ask the inner circle.

15 Exercise (2) Icebreaker: BLOBS & LINES
When everyone is finished, the outer circle will shift one seat to the left. Now, repeat the questions with each student until the outer circle has completed the cycle. 16 Exercise (3) Icebreaker: Fun facts
Using colored candies, such as M & M’s or Skittles, assign a different category for each color: Red – family Blue – hobbies Green – friends Yellow – favorite song or singing group Place the candies in a large bowl.

17 Exercise (3) Icebreaker: Fun facts
Choose as many candies as they like. The same color or different colors. You may want to set a limit to make sure the bowl lasts all the way around the group and to control the length of this icebreaker game. The number of candies you choose equals the number of facts you will share about yourselves with the rest of the class. You must tell facts corresponding to the categories assigned each color. For example, if a student chose all blue candies, they will share only facts about hobbies. Be sure to take notes while your classmates are sharing.

19 Exercise (4) Icebreaker: hidden identity / who am i?
Each student writes down the name of a famous person – an actor, singer, historical figure, etc. Collect the papers and tape one to the back of each student without letting them know who they have. Students then circulate around the room asking yes or no questions to identify what name is taped to their back. You can only ask each person one question! The student who guesses their celebrity first wins.
