Our themes reflect the key areas on your lesson observation form: Preparation and planning Learning and teaching Equal opportunities and safeguarding Resources Assessment and feedback Personal qualities and professionalism

The PCE context There is one more theme that is not on your lesson observation form. As with all of the themes, it will be developed in the course: Curriculums and contexts

September to November You will get to know all of the tutors on the course. You will be taught in different groupings for most of the module. There will be a range of teaching and learning strategies used. We will recommend key readings and websites to you.

Module Assessments The delivery of a microteaching session [15 minutes] This will be discussed with you tomorrow in detail and will be discussed as part of the module sessions. A report of 2000 words based on an evaluation of your microteaching session This will be discussed as part of the module sessions
