Offspring are mighty men(giants)
God limits mans years to 120
God witnesses man’s wickedness
Decides to start again
Only Noah & offspring find favour
Noah , family and animals survive flood
God promises to maintain the earth and not destroy it again – Rainbow signs his promise

5. Bible – Old Testament - Genesis
Genesis 11: descendants of Shem down the years to Terah
Terah, begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
Terah took Abram, Lot(son of Haran(deceased), and Sarai (Abram's wife); from Ur of the Chaldees, into the land of Canaan; unto Haran, and dwelt there.
God tells Abram to move on(Terah dies in Haran)

Abram & Lot’s herds increase , they separate to find better pasture(Lot near Sodom)
Abram has 1st son Ishmael born to servant Hagar. Ishmael father of Islam
Sodom & Gomorrah wicked , destroyed by God but Lot & retinue saved except wife who tarried.
Isaac born to Sarai father of the Judeaism
Hagar & Ishmael cast out
Abram now Abraham , Sarai now Sarah
God tests Abraham and finds him faithful
