Review the role and requirements (aka functions) of a TC or PC?
Place/grade functions on “high & low value / doing well/not doing well” quad chart
Are these functions providing value to the Institute, our members, and important stakeholders?
Be Prepared to Discuss Ideas and Approaches

12. Task 1: Define TC/PC Functions and Requirements:
Concept: List/sort AIAA technical committee functions & requirements into 3 areas
Quantitative: those functions having readily identifiable metrics (e.g., number of papers submitted to a “call for papers”)
Qualitative: those functions not amenable to measurement (e.g., professional growth opportunities)
Other (e.g., TC participation at non-aerospace event)
Exercise 1a: list existing functions; Exercise 1b: list new ideas/functions
