The displays should inspire us to promote childrens’ rights.
Joint art projects with other schools
Pupil voice must happen – especially in displays.

4. UNICEF
St Marys have been working closely with parents for a long time and here are ideas some ideas for UNICEF.
Parents could come in and teach about their faith and religion. Links to article 14.
We should invite parent to work shops after assemblies. Should be linked to respect and rights.
Have an open community and open door, maybe brothers or sisters to come and join in.

5. Our Ideas More parent events involving UNICEF.
Get a better idea of what the parents know and what they need to know .
The events like ‘day for change’ bring parents closer.
Get the media involved more because this would open our ideas to a wide range of people and communities.
