2. What is concept mapping
Concept mapping is a technique that allows students to understand the relationships between ideas by creating a visual map of the connections.
(1) see the connections between ideas they already have,
(2) connect new ideas to knowledge that they already have, and
(3) organize ideas in a logical but not rigid structure that allows future information or viewpoints to be included.

3. How to do a concept map Need a pt database
Primary diagnosis (why there are hospitalized)
Secondaary diagnosis (other problems related to primary diagnosis or that cuase clinical manifestiotions)
Clinical manifestatioins (objective data)
Interventions – medical and nursing
Nursing diagnosis

4. Primary diagnosis The reason for the hospitalization
This is represented by a diagram in the center of the page
