Pastor/Teachers serve by Equipping (“preparing”) all believers to serve.
All Believers serve by Edifying (“building up”) the “Body.”

Encouragement – Affirm, motivate, smile…
Leadership – Start, guide, decide, change…
Giving – Bills, food, hospitality, church budget, missions…
Mercy – Ask, listen, care, comfort…
Serving – Help, fix, set up, do details…
Teaching – Prepare, equip, explain truth personally
Administration – Organize, plan, keep track
Evangelism – Share gospel, teach me how
Pastor/Teacher – Care, teach, model, train…

3. Finding where I Fit
What might be my spiritual gift (s)? What do I like? What do I notice that might need help?
Am I patient finding how I fit? Am I getting input?
Am I getting trained? Am I humble enough to learn from others?
How am I involved now – in relationships, in service?
Do I realize I don’t need a “position” to use my spiritual gift?
Am I willing to help – even where I’m not gifted?
Am I maturing in God’s word? My character?
Does love motivate me to serve – or duty, pride…?
