The MSU has 5 wards and Malcolm Faulk nurse the most challenging group of patients within the hospital.
15 beds – 5 of which are intensive care beds
Within the ICA there is 1 seclusion room, a de-escalation room.

All admissions are planned, nursing and medical assessments are undertaken (where possible) prior to admission to allow a easy transfer for the patient. the
