HHSC feels it is less likely CMS will approve the amendment at this late time frame for use in DY5

4. Anchor Updates October Reporting – Email received 2/20/2105
Provisionally Approved Metrics are now marked either “Approved” or “Need More Info”.
If “Approved,” these metrics are now considered achieved based on a full review and will retain payment received in January.
If metrics are marked “Need More Info” then providers will need to submit additional supporting documentation. All NMI submissions should be ed to by 11:59 pm on March 6, 2015.

Online Reporting System – Will Not be Updated until after March 6th
HHSC Signoffs, Progress Update Signoffs, and HHSC Comments for provisionally approved metrics will not be updated in the online reporting system until after review of Need More Info (NMI) responses is complete. Providers should rely on the excel file sent by rather than the online reporting system for review information for provisionally approved metrics.

Category 3 – HHSC is Continuing to Finalize Baseline Dates and Goals for DY4 and DY5
Reminder: Any baseline or goal corrections must be sent to the waiver mailbox no later than TODAY, Wednesday, February 25th.
If HHSC flagged a project for missing Survey Administration Forms, then these must be sent to the waiver mailbox no later than Friday, February 27th.

7. Anchor updates Category 3 - TA Flags & Baseline Correction Form
HHSC has recently developed a Category 3 Baseline Correction Form that providers submit following a TA session. If adjustments are requested, the form will be used instead of re-submitting the Category 3 baseline template that was used in October reporting.
Expect to receive phone calls or s on any TA flags from Jennifer, Noelle, or Amanda.

8. Anchor Updates Project Withdrawal Window - February 1st – May 1, 2015
No penalty for withdrawal during the withdrawal window. Any provider interested in withdrawing a project will need to timely submit a Project Removal Form to the waiver mailbox.
Waiver Renewal
HHSC is drafting a transition plan due to CMS by March 31, 2015.
Information is being gathered from around the state identifying evidence-based best practices.
Updated RHP Plans
Expect Updated RHP Plans to be due to HHSC in March, Awaiting HHSC instructions .

9. HHSC Mid-Point Assessment
Meyers & Stauffer has started to review information reported for 3 year projects that did not have any information reported in April of Be aware that Meyers & Stauffer may contact providers with additional questions regarding any of the 3-year project that reported in October.
Additional questions for 3 year projects will be coming in the near future.
