Writing Activity Build on the writing you have been working on for the past couple of days. So far, you have dissected the prompt (SPAM) and completed a prewrite. You have also complete the introduction to your letter. Today, write your 1st body paragraph. Remember to start with a strong transition! Use your thesis from your introduction to guide your writing. Whatever you list 1st in your thesis (your thoughts), this should be the topic of your 1st body paragraph. Use ample support (evidence): details, examples, facts, etc.

Writing Writing Situation: Wiesel explains that Moche the Beadle flees Sighet when the Germans arrest leaders in the Jewish community. Think back to our class discussion of the essential question. Writing directions: Assuming Moche had escaped to freedom, what would you want to say to him about the situation? What feelings would you want express about the situation in which fellow villagers find themselves. Write a letter to Moche expressing your thoughts. You could include your thoughts, feelings, and a solution.
