Closely matched college or apprenticeship and secondary curriculum content
Taught by both a college professor or instructor and a secondary school teacher.
No maximum number of credits
Could be any Ontario curriculum course, including compulsory courses

9. Team-taught Dual Credit Courses
Assessment and evaluation of the Ontario curriculum course is done by the secondary school teacher

10. Team-taught Dual Credit Courses
Credit for the secondary school course is recorded on the OST using the code for the secondary school Ontario curriculum course.
The term dual credit appears in parentheses. “T” appears in the Note column

12. Adding Team-taught Dual Credit Courses
Use regular Ministry Defined Ontario curriculum course codes
Enter into the Trillium master schedule the same way as regular Day School course types are entered
Select course types “DC-Team Teaching” or “DC-Appr.Team Teaching”

13. Flagging a Course as Team Taught
Note the course type field, which triggers the “Team Taught” flag on the transcript

14. Check for Accuracy
If entered correctly, here’s how a team-taught dual credit will appear on an OST:
Note that the words “Dual Credit” appear in brackets after the Ontario curriculum course title
Note that a “T” appears in the Note column to indicate “team taught”
