A Cultural Project for an Urban Project
La Friche was born out of the ashes of the Seita tobacco factory and today it is a place of creativity and innovation. La Friche la Belle de Mai is a working and performance space for the 70 on site organisations (400 artists and creatives who work here every day).

Tobacco Factory In the 19th century, the tobacco factory at la Belle de Mai was the HQ of one of the biggest manufacturers in France and was the biggest employer in the city.

La Friche Today La Friche in numbers: 45 000 m2 floor space
m2 surface area 70 on site organisations 400 permanent residents a sports area, a restaurant, 5 concert venues, shared private gardens, a bookshop, a kindergarten, many training and rehearsal studios, an Incubator for Cultural business, 2400 m2 of exhibition space, a 8000 m2 roof terrace 600 events a year, over visitors a year

Target: all kinds of business profiles needed to create a fully integrated chain of development for the artists – Publisher, Producer, Manager, Admin, Legal Advisor, Communication Officer, Maintenance, etc...… Term: One year, extendable 2 times, 3 years max How to apply? -> After the Pre-test Phase, Project Presentation in front of the CADO Admission Committee

Activities FUNDUK, a platform for Artists collectives Target: Professional Artists collectives (Theater companies, Music groups, Danse companies, Visual & Digital Arts collectives, etc…), represented by a double management: artistic director/general manager Term: One year, extendable 2 times, 3 years max How to apply? -> Application call, selection by Funduk steering committee

Tools We provide full support to our beneficiaries:
Individual support: Coaching – interviews/dialogue; Advising – Business Plan, Economic Models, Financing… Collective training sessions: Project Management, Business Gouvernance, Commercial Strategy, Fundraising, Communication… Experiences sharing : inviting Professionals from the cultural sector Networking: Professional meetings, local and international (Sostenuto, 3C4, Incubinc) Artistic Mentorship: only within Funduk Micro-banking: from 500 to 3000 euros (in partnership with National Public Bank « Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations »)

Tools C.A.P.E. (Contrat d’Appui au Projet d’Entreprise)
A legal facility enabling Dynamo beneficiairies to contract and invoice through the legal frame of A.M.I. organisation Only in France, an experimental Economy Policy initiative The beneficiaries can use the legal status of the Incubator to begin & test their own Business, without having to start their own business and pay taxes. Term: 1 year extendable 2 times, 3 years max Rate: 30 euros/month + 5% of the pre-tax turnover
