2 Matthew 11:20-24 20 Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent: 21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be[d] brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.”

3 Matthew 11:28-30 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

They worked hard at being Righteous! Jesus: Leave the life of bondage and rules and legalism and religion and just come to me! Let go of the sack of rocks and come to me!

I Thessalonians 5:24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. Deuteronomy 22 – only the same kind of animals can be yoked together John 1:14 – Jesus became “Emmanuel” – “God With Us” to be one of us so we could take his yoke!

9 If You’re Tired and Weary…
Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

10 Take My Life Take my life and let it be Consecrated, Lord, to Thee. Take my moments and my days, Let them flow in endless praise.

11 Take My Life Take my will and make it Thine, It shall be no longer mine. Take my heart, it is Thine own, It shall be Thy royal throne.

12 Take My Life Take my love, my Lord, I pour At Thy feet its treasure store. Take myself and I will be Ever, only, all for Thee.
