5 37 The person who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; the person who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38  And whoever doesn’t take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Matthew 10:37-38 26 If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his own father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters – yes, even his own life – he cannot be My disciple. Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:26-27

Jesus says: I know it’s a struggle to put Me first. I love You whether you put Me first or not. But I’m not lowering the bar of My expectation.
