4. Causes of Wildfires
A number of sources can cause wildfires, but humans are by far the largest contributing factor. Natural wildfires typically occur during times of drought combined with lightning strikes that ignite dry grass or brush, but this scenario accounts for less than 10% of all wildfires.

5. CLIMATE CHANGE AND WILDES
Stronger winds from bigger storms wil mean more fallen branches for wildfires to consume.
Climate change will lead to more hot days comared to cold. Higher temps cause fiercer fires.
Increased extreme wet weather primes forests for fire by growing more fuel.
Drought and warmer springs mean smaller snow packs and drier forest fuel. .

7. The biggest wildfires in Poland
26th August 1992 in the Kuznia Raciborska broke out fire. In Poland was the high temperature. That day was 38 degrees Celsius. Just a spark from the train's wheels ... Over 9,000 hectares have burned down. Rescue and firefighting operation was conducted until September. Firemen, police and civil defense worked alongside firefighters. In total - about 12 thousand people, different firefighters, 50 tankers, 26 firefighters, 6 locomotives, 4 fire engines and heavy equipment: tanks, plows and bulldozers. The firefighting operation cost a total of PLN 67 billion.
