1. Understanding the Waterfall Concept
The purpose of the Waterfall is to promote participation for ALL players in a season long tournament.  By entering, you are committing to playing the matches on the days already published on the Schedule and to attend the 'Finals' Day at a common venue.
Teams will be ranked by ability within each tournament – based on previous year’s results and will be entered into the tournament as follows:
President’s Tournament for all ‘1XV’ Teams
Chairman’s Tournament for all ‘Development’ Teams
Round 1 - depending on the number of entries Round 1 may become a pre-qualification Round.  Those that lose at this stage will be moved to a 'Secretary's' / ‘Trophy’ Waterfall Tournament
Round 2 - win at this level and you progress to the Quarter Final of the Cup, lose and you will be entered in the Quarter Final of the Plate
Quarter Finals - winners of the Cup and Plate matches progress to the Semi Finals, losers enter the Semi Finals of the Shield and Bowl competitions respectively
Semi Finals - the Semi Final winners go forward to the Finals, Losing semi-finalists compete in the 3rd / 4th Place Playoff
Finals Day - will be held at one venue where all teams will come together to decide the Winners of the Finals and the 3rd / 4th place Playoffs.
