2 Sequencer Projects When you click on this pre-set only two
audio tracks come up ready for recording . This preset is good for Recording audio.

3 When you select a production pre-set
Multiple tracks come up ready for recording But they are midi tracks not audio tracks. This preset is good for creating dance music.

4 Scoring is a pre-set to were you can compos your music
by adding in the notes yourself. This preset is good for seeing what the notes would look Like if write.

5 How to add a instrument track
To add a track you firstly need to right click in the grey area Then click add Instrument track, no VST Instrument, Scroll down and select the synth prologue How to add a instrument track

6 How to add a audio track First right click in the grey area and click add audio track, Then this window will come up just click add track.

7 I have my tracks added but I did one wrong so first I right click the track I did wrong
and go to remove track or press Shift and Delete on your keyboard . How to delete a track

8 How to set up a audio interface
The part of the interface is for a microphone with 3 pins to fit. This part of the interface if for a guitar jack lead. The leads at the top of the interface are the stereo cables. This dial is gain and gain is the volume and the bar in the middle shows the volume and the light needs to just be hitting the orange. The lead is the USB lead that connects the interface to your computer.

9 Recorded audio This audio wave is fine and the gain is perfect.
This audio wave is distorted and the gain the way too high. This audio wave is too quiet and the gain is too low.

10 Changing the sound of a halion track
When your track is complete you can change the sound by clicking these two icons. When the windows open you can pick any sound on the programme. HALion track have more realistic sounds. Then prologue

12 Recoding midi First click the record button. And the track name on the
Side will turn red. When the recording is done the blocks are what the computer reads

13 Importing a midi track First create a empty project next find the file tab and go to import and then midi file. When you click midi file don’t create A new project and your files should Come up, just locate the midi track and open it and the Track will open in Cubase and now You can change to the way you like It.

14 Prerecord audio To import a audio track you first click file,
The import, Audio File… Then lastly find the track.

15 Recording Audio If your wanting to record a drum kit your going to want the mic a just the high

16 Different type of tracks
Audio: There tracks are used to record live audio like a singer or a guitar. MIDI: These tracks are used to contain MIDI info. MIDI tracks don’t contain sound. Software instrument tracks: These are like audio tracks and MIDI tracks which are combines.
