War and Peace There is no doubt that war is cruel. It not only brings people misery and sacrifice but also makes it impossible to develop the economy. What’s worse, many families are broken up and thousands of civilians become homeless. It is generally agreed that peace is the common goal of the whole world. Without peace, there would be no economic progress. Only in peace can people enjoy a happy life. Wouldn’t it be a wonderful world if all nations lived peacefully with one another? With wisdom and love, human beings should love peace and hate war.
