MY CAREER IN PHARMICUTICAL SALES

The requirements I will need to obviously need a high school degree.
I will need at least a Bachelors Degree in business, which I will get at Chico state. I will also need to go through a 6 month training period where they will see if I can do the job.

Training Process The training is harder than training for normal sales because even though its an entry level job it has an annual pay of $100,000. During the training I have to shadow an experienced Drug Rep. who will hopefully give me pointers on selling to doctors. Which is hard to do because doctors are stubborn.

Getting the job I have to make the right connections with people from the producer I want to work for I also have to look very professional for the interview because I’ll be part of the medical community I also have to develop extremely good people skills because I have to appear to want what the doctor wants.

Trainee Full time rep A shadow to the actual rep Still doesn’t have a set salary until they meet their first quota The person that teaches someone how to do the job They usually have a set salary but for some companies it also depends on if their quota’s meet
