11 MMC-Graduation Requirements
4 years of Math-Math your Senior Year 4 years of English 3 years of Science (Biology & Physics/Chemistry) 3 years of Social Studies (U.S., World, Government, Econ) 1 credit PE/Health (.5 health and .5 PE) On-line experience VPAA (eg.art,computer classes, choir, band & many more) 2 credits of Foreign Language (Spanish/French/ASL) AT THE HIGH SCHOOL IF YOU ARE COLLEGE BOUND! Some of you have  Math, and/or Spanish credit from WMS.  Make sure it is on your transcript. If you fail, plan on summer school or after school credit recovery. 23 Credits needed for a diploma

What is GPA? Do you know what your GPA does for you? A = 4.0 A- = 3.6 B+ = 3.3 B = 3.0 B- = 2.6 C+ = 2.3 C = 2.0 C- = 1.6 D+ = 1.3 D = 1.0 D- = .6 F = 0 If you were to apply to college today, would you get into the school of your choice?

14 Advice Form good study habits NOW
Math-do the homework and re-work the math problems. You will need Algebra One Geometry Algebra Two (Algebra 2A and Algebra 2B) 4th year of Math (Pre-Calc, Statistics or other related math class) Advice from Seniors “Don’t slack off”!

Have good attendance Talk to your teacher if you get confused Go to tutoring MAKE UP MISSED WORK ON TIME You are in control and you get to determine if you pass and what your transcript looks like

16 credits Each class at WHS earns .5 credit/semester or 1 credit for the year if you PASS The class & credits are on your transcript which is a permanent record that follows you wherever you go for the rest of your life Example from the Main Office

Getting requirements satisfied early on to open the door for dual enrollment and/or off campus options. 11th and 12th grade offer more course choices Pride Awards AP Dual Enrollment CACC TEC It is possible to save money on college tuition by earning credits in High School. KEEP THE DOOR OPEN
