11. Focus on godliness; trust God about honor
Proverbs 3:3-4 – Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Proverbs 21:21 – Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.
Proverbs 27:2 – Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; someone else, and not your own lips.

14. Refocusing on God’s approval
 1 Corinthians 4:3-5 – I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself 4…. It is the Lord who judges me.5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.
