6 What is MMSC? Million Monthly Server Calls (MMSC): one (1) Million Server Calls per month. A "Server Call" represents a client tagged, tracked visitor initiated event that passes data to the Program and is processed for one profile or Client ID. A server call processed by multiple profiles or Client IDs will be counted as a unique server call for each. To get a good idea of the number of server calls that you need to purchase, take the page views and calculate this by This is not an exact science, but it’s a way to ensure that an appropriate contract is purchased.

9 Million Server Call Overage “Smoothing” period (Coremetrics specific)
Standard Smoothing is by Calendar Quarter Smoothing period is per calendar quarter only better predictability and budgeting Example - customer subscribes to 10 MSCs per month. Their usage is as follows: January: 9, February 9, March 14 = 32 total which is 2 over licensed volume of 3x10 MSC = 30.  April Overage invoice will be 2 MSCs Custom smoothing periods are available (e.g. 6 or 12 months)

Pricing is based on Monthly Million Server calls for the core offering. IBM's tightly integrated digital marketing optimization applications are priced separately and include: Search Marketing — bid management. Intelligent Offer — recommendations. LIV — targeting. AdTarget — display ad targeting. Impression Attribution — off-site impression analytics. Social Analytics — for monitoring and ROI analysis.
