Serve as Ex-officio member on the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Foster relationships with local business/civic organizations, ie., Bee Cave and Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary clubs, Lakeway Men’s Breakfast Club, Lake Travis Lions Club Support and promote Mentor Me LT program and Literacy Partners Manage Senior Gold Card program Internal (Employee) Communications Produce monthly District employee e-newsletter (Currents) Assist HR with promotion of employee recognition programs and events, ie, LT High5 Award presented by All Star Burger, Employee Recognition Dinner, New Teacher Breakfast Crisis Communication Manage Blackboard Mass Notification communication platform Shift from ‘react and respond’ to ‘prepare and anticipate’ LT CLASS Project

Maintain District website (complete redesign – 10 sites) Produce monthly District community e-newsletter (School Matters) Produce HR recruitment booklet/District profile Media Relations Prepare and disseminate all official district news and information Serve as district spokesperson on behalf of superintendent Public Affairs/Governmental Relations Assist superintendent and senior staff with building and fostering relationships with elected officials and staff LT CLASS Project

Assist with planning, promotion and coverage of district events Assist with coordination of ground breaking/ribbon cutting ceremonies Strategic Communication Develop public information campaigns for school finance/budget challenges, bond elections, tax ratification elections, new school attendance zones, etc. Assist with launch of new programs (i.e., Mentor Me LT, mySchoolBucks meal pre-payment system, RevTrak online payment solution, SMART tag student bus ridership program, Leader for Life student wellness program, and other large-scale initiatives) LT CLASS Project

(sources: Facebook, Twitter) Currently 3,757 ‘likes’ on Facebook since April 2010 Currently 5,157 ‘followers’ on Twitter since April 2010 Blackboard Mass Notification: More than 13K s, 6K SMS, and 8K pre-recorded phone messages were delivered during the last bad weather day (Spring 2015) LISD Senior Gold Card Club Currently 534 members… and counting!
