TIA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop voluntary, consensus-based industry standards for a variety of ICT segments TIA manages more than 70 committees/subcommittees, serves as Secretariat for 3GPP2, administrates several TCs and TAGs Equipment for private radio, data terminals, satellite communications, telephones, Voice over IP (VoIP), Design, components and construction for cellular towers, structured cabling, data centers, mobile device communications, multimedia multicast, vehicular telematics, smart device communications (M2M), smart utility networks Programs for sustainable/environmental communications technologies, and accessibility
