Abraham prays

3. Confidence in Prayer
Sarah will have a son (verse 10)
Growth in confidence
Walking with the wise. (verse 16)

4. Confidence in us.
Shall I hide? Seeing…….
(verses 17 and 18)
2. God is pure and holy, sin has to be
dealt with.
3. The unrighteous need to be dealt
with. (verse 20)
but

5. Confidence in praying to God.
Will the righteous be swept away as well?
Suppose!!!!!!!! (verses 24, 28 – 31)

6. Confidence that Prayer is finished.
And the Lord went his way, when he had finished speaking to Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.
(verse 33)

7. What have we learnt?
Be persistent in prayer.
Prayer makes a difference.
God listens.
God is merciful.
Do not give up.
