Would visiting the River Ganges feel special to a non-Hindu? Week 3- World Cup Week. Focus on the Ivory Coast. The football festival of the Word Cup. Science- Green Plants. The functions of different parts of the flower. Weeks 4, 5 and 6- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Why recycling is important. Stories linked to recycling. ICT- Programming using Scratch and Lego Wedo challenges. Creating Music using ICT (Groovy Music). Weeks 7 and 8 Field trip focus weeks. Visit to the Beach. Dates for your Diary Friday 20th June- World Cup dress up day. Come to school dressed in Orange, Green or White (the colours of the Ivory Coast Team) Friday 27th June- Meadow follow up visit. Friday 27th June- Pavement Artist Competition and Family Fun Event after school. Monday 30th June- Cathedral and gallery visit. Friday 4th July- Sports Day. 10th and 11th July- School Closed- TD Days. Friday 18th July- Year 3/4 Beach Trip. Thursday 24th July- Last day of term and church service. Art and DT- Natural sculptures. Study of Andy Goldsworthy. Creative printing. Finishing and testing our trebuchets. PE and Games Rounders Athletics Dance Music- Children will continue their recorder lessons with Mrs Parsons and have weekly singing sessions with Becky. Children will use ICT to create music. PSHE- Changes we face in our lives.
