Request for approval of MOU/Metropolitan Planning Agreement Note: Background paper-Agenda Item 7- was included in mailout materials. Describes an ongoing planning process. Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO) are required to adopt written agreements with the state Department of Transportation and providers of public transportation that describe the roles and responsibilities each partner will perform in carrying out the metropolitan planning process.
