Timeshare Statistics
The Gold Coast is the epicentre of the Australian timeshare industry, recording 22.7% of all timeshare resort units as well as head offices of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, Accor Vacation Club, Classic Holidays, ULTIQA Lifestyle, RCI, Dial An Exchange, and I.C.E. Asia Pacific. Overall, there were an estimated 1,529 FTE people either directly or indirectly employed by the timeshare industry on the Gold Coast in 2016, supporting salaries and wages of $141.9 million. Approximately $164.0 million in Gross Regional Product (GRP) was supported by the industry in 2016.
