7 SCRIPT AND KEY ANSWER Slide 5: Listening to comparison and contrast passage Which goes faster, a bicycle or a car? Of course, a car is faster than a bicycle. A car is not only faster, but also more convenient than a bicycle. If we observe everything around us, we can say that it doesn’t have a good side only, but also a bad one. A bad side is not useful for us, therefore we must always try to reduce it. And now the problem is ‘What is the bad side of a car?’ The answer of the question is not difficult to find. First, a car wastes smoke. If there are many cars running on the roads, there will be much smoke in the air. It means that the air becomes dirty. And it is not good for our health. If there are many cars on the road, it will be noisy. And it is also not good for our health. So, a car causes air and sound pollution. Now, the problem is how to make a car that will not cause much pollution for the air and sound. ANSWERS: 1. The bad side of a car 2. How to make a car that will not cause much pollution.
