Dollar for Scholars Local Scholarships General Instructions

2 What is Dollars for Scholars?
St. Louis Park Dollars for Scholars, affiliated with Scholarship America, is a volunteer, community based organization committed to raising scholarships funds for Park High School seniors. It is a locally operated and supported, non-profit, tax-exempt scholarship foundation and has been in existence since 1995. Over $90,000 awarded last spring!

3 Who can apply? All seniors are eligible to apply.
Scholarships are awards are based on many factors: Financial need Academic achievement Post secondary or career interest Volunteerism Sports affiliation

Click on ‘Student & Parent’ tab to start your profile. If you follow the instruction sheet you will have no problems. Please take time to READ and FOLLOW the directions. You must complete all required items to be eligible for a scholarship.

5 Due Date: Thursday, March 16 @ 3:30
Completed Scholarship applications are due by: Thursday, March 3:30 Encourage you to start early – and meet required deadlines. You cannot finish this at the last minute – need an applicant appraisal – send this ASAP so the person recommending you has time to respond.

Provide an essay on your goals and aspirations. Provide an essay on any unusual circumstances you may have experienced in your life. Confirm with your local chapter the length they would like the essays to be. © Scholarship America. December 2014.

Click to add your counselor/registrar information to request transcript information. Click to add reference information to request a recommendation. After you’ve requested the info, you can search for scholarships! © Scholarship erica. December 2014.
