A Look at Next Week: 12/5 - 12/9
Literacy- We will continue to practice retelling stories using key details this week. We will also focus on short vowel sounds in CVC words (pet, tap, mop, etc.).
Sight Words:) one, with, all please review these with you child each night  )
Writing- Students will continue working on opinion writing this week.
Math- Next week we will be learning all about 3-dimensional (3D) shapes. Students will learn about cylinders, cones, spheres, and cubes. Practice finding objects with these shapes at home!
Science- We will be learning about the season of winter this week.
Reminders
SPROUT –a-Thon donations will be accepted until December 8th. Thank you so much for all of your support! 
** Please continue to send in your child’s permission slips and money for our Field Trip. Students will not be able to attend if we do not have permission. Thank you so much! 
**Dress Code Reminder**- Students are expected to be in dress code each day. With the cold weather upon us, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately with a coat and a hat/gloves as needed. We will continue to go outside as long as the weather permits! 

Homework
Please practice sight words each night in addition to your child’s daily homework. Homework will be sent home each day (Monday-Thursday) and be due the following day. Please let us know if you have any questions! 
