Based on our measurement topics through standards based grading:
Number System Fluency 50%
Rates, Ratios, Proportions with 50% Fractions
Please check website for each quarters evaluation percentages.

5. CONTINUATION CRITERIA
In order for your child to continue in the accelerated classes in the future, they must maintain the following:
85% test average for the year
850+ on the Math 6 CRCT

6. Sample Day in Class
Opening: homework check, intro into new lesson or continuation of previous lesson
Work Session: class discussions/notes, student group activities/tasks, practice
Closing: wrap up our lesson for the day and extend with questions about lesson

7. M.S.G (Math Survival Guide)
Students will create an interactive notebook for all notes and some practice/examples for each topic.
We will incorporate the O.M.G foldables for all their math vocabulary
All of their 6th grade content will be in one place.

Website – daily summary with overview of activity/concept with homework posted as well.
Some activities, worksheets may be accessible there.
