5. Eligibility
Be US citizen or permanent resident, have a clinical doctorate or Ph.D. degree or its equivalent
Commit at least 75 percent effort
Not be or have been a Principal Investigator on an R01 or equivalent
Have a faculty appointment at Pitt by the start of the CRSP program
Be committed to developing a clinical research career
You cannot have another K award pending to apply
If you have a K award under review, but are interested in the KL2, a two page letter of interest
1) brief information on the pending K application (K series, funding agency, review date, etc)
2) a brief description of training plan and
3) aims for the proposed research with a brief discussion of the approach.
