My day at Mugdock Country Park

2. Planning our walk
Me, my mum, dad and my dog, Layla took the day out to Mugdock country park.
This is a picture of the parks map we had to look at this to know where the loch and the castle were.

3. Starting our walk
This is me, my dad and Layla on the gravel path trail.
I realised that the path wasn’t suitable for my old scooter!

4. Self Pose!! My mum made me get into a self pose!!
You can see from the picture that we are happy and enjoying ourselves.

5. The Moors
After a family picnic my mum brought, we found a path that lead to the moors so we decided to take an adventure along it!
As we walked along we saw lots of Scottish thistles out in the wild country side.

6. Mugdock Castle
At the end of the moors I saw a castle that we could get in to have a look at the old things inside!!
When we went into it we saw an old stove and an old bunker that Layla went into!!

7. The Loch
After we had a look in the castle, we walked down to the loch that my dog Layla LOVED!!!
We threw a stick in the Loch for her. At first she was nervous to get in, but we said to her go get the stick and she went in. She swam for about 5 minutes!

8. The end of our walk!
Unfortunately, we had to go home. At the exit there was this big thing with a seat on in and two big wheels that I sat on. Mind you I don’t think I was meant to Ha Ha.
It was an old farming tool that horses used to pull.
