In Sketchbooks or on ‘rough work’ paper:
Make a list or ‘doodles’ of things you like!
Think about how you could visually depict your ‘likes’ by simply using lines and shapes.
Favourites… hobbies, interests, sports, foods, animals, places, things to do…

4. Art Portfolios Supplies to Get Started… -Large sheet of Bristol board
-Pencil with pink eraser attached
-Sharpie marker
Print your name in the top right corner:

5. Planning my Art Portfolio…
I can ‘draw’ a guideline with a pink eraser.
(to divide the page in half, horizontally)
I can estimate and use the space well:
4 large rectangles in the top half,
4 large rectangles in the bottom half;
Space below each for “-ish” labels.
I can draw rectangular shapes freehand,
without a ruler.

6. Drawings that Tell About You…
Pick some of your favourite ideas, and make an "ish" drawing with lines and shapes in each of the rectangles using a Sharpie.
Label your drawings.
