1 Short investor presentation
AN UBER-LIKE APPROACH TO TECH MEDIA BUSINESS The next-gen information and market intelligence platform about innovation in the emerging world Short investor presentation V3.31 – Sept. 2016 CONFIDENTIAL

2 THE NEXt-GEN information and MARKET INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM ABOUT innovation in THE EMERGING WORLD
Introduction Innovation is spreading well beyond Silicon Valley and a few other advanced areas. This is true today, and will be even more true tomorrow. However, so far, many emerging areas have remained virtually invisible, from a global perspective, due to a lack of information coverage. By bridging this gap, we aim to address a huge demand for information, market intelligence and associated business services from both sides. The project capitalizes on EWDN’s successful experience in Eastern Europe since Moreover, we are leveraging the capacities of powerful local and international players to create, step by step, a global company. We are raising $500k to start developing the world’s first information platform dedicated to innovation in emerging markets

4 THE NEXt-GEN information and MARKET INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM ABOUT innovation in THE EMERGING WORLD
Our goal We are building an information and market intelligence capacity to cover tech industries in emerging areas. Thus we aim to address the needs of: A growing number of players across the world – from corporations, to startups, to investors of all types – who need a truly global business vision and market knowledge that include emerging markets; Players from emerging countries, who are increasingly seeking to import or export services or technologies; Governments and industry consortia from emerging countries, who are willing to raise their country’s profile on the global high tech map.

5 THE NEXt-GEN information and MARKET INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM ABOUT innovation in THE EMERGING WORLD
Project components 1 "Global Aggregator:" A "one-stop shop" covering emerging markets at large and encompassing all industries. The platform will aggregate contents and services from third parties ("Smart Aggregation") as well as from the local, regional and vertical platforms as they will develop. Local, regional or vertical portals: Covering tech innovation and tech markets in specific countries, regions or verticals. First projects under consideration: Latin America and E-commerce 2

7 The technological dimension
THE NEXt-GEN information and MARKET INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM ABOUT innovation in THE EMERGING WORLD Global Aggregator: The technological dimension In its advanced versions, the Global Aggregator will aim to leverage the latest technology advancements in the fields of: Multiligual content search Automated or semi-automated translation Search in natural language A dialogue has been engaged with leading technology providers in the USA and Eastern Europe. The relevant R&D strategy and the corresponding partnerships will be completed during the initial phase of the project.

8 Regional and vertical portals
THE NEXt-GEN information and MARKET INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM ABOUT innovation in THE EMERGING WORLD Regional and vertical portals Capitalizing on our experience in Eastern Europe, we aim to cover progressively additional areas and verticals across emerging markets. 10 Next-gen business models A step-by-step development strategy
THE NEXt-GEN information and MARKET INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM ABOUT innovation in THE EMERGING WORLD Reaching our goals Principle #1: «Smart Aggregation» We don’t aim to produce all content or provide all services on our own. Producing just a modest part of these contents and services, we will rather leverage third-party capacities. We see our key value in distributing these capacities globally and combining them locally as relevant. In the long term, third-party content and services may be replaced, progressively and partially, by own-produced ones. Principle #2: Next-gen business models  Compelling market intelligence offers with paid products and susbcription offers  Co-financing agreements with local governments and industry consortia – as successfully experimented already in several countries  High quality at lower cost with production centers in emerging countries  And much more! Principle #3: A step-by-step development strategy  New vertical, regional our country portals launched pragmatically, depending on international customers’ demand and local partnership opportunities.  A virtually unlimited potential: New geographies and new activities supported by the most advanced available technologies!
