2. Dirty Grossness Everywhere!
You are walking down the sidewalk in Los Angeles, coughing from the highly polluted, dirty air. You see a baby chick struggling to untangle himself from a torn plastic bag. You pretend it’s normal and keep walking. You see people smoking and throwing the butts on the trashed streets. You quickly pass them and feel the wind picking up and duck, dodging the toxic waste and litter coming your way. Why? You think to yourself. Why does it have to be like this? More dirty and disgusting every step you take. What can we as people do to stop this and the people doing it? That is what I will be answering for you today! Keep reading and find out!

3. Bad Guys vs. Good Guys
I would just like to include in advance that I have nothing against either of these people.

TRUMP: Environmental Protection, what they do is a disgrace. Every week they come out with new regulations.

I personally agree with trump on what he quote said - “You can’t destroy businesses.” That is so true, you cannot destroy businesses! Only, you can destroy our planet.
To stop this feeble-minded idea of ruining the EPA, you must keep (or start) supporting and helping the EPA! That is my first advice to start being heroes and save planet earth! z

4. Start Paper Recycling and Reusing!
Every second, 10 tons of paper is produced around the world. Keep in mind that 324 liters of water is used to make just 1 kilogram of paper pounds of paper is wasted each year which is also water going to waste! U.S offices use up to 12.1 trillion pieces of paper per year. Packaging packages then ripping the wraping paper off because it is not perfect. Think about your Christmases and birthdays -- wrapping and tearing the paper apart, then throwing it all away, not even thinking about reusing the pretty paper.
Some people are starting to turn fully away from paper, going all electronic. I could fully support them, but I also disagree. This is great, because it would be wonderful for the environment and paper waste, yet not so perfect for us. Every human should have the chance to be able to write with paper and a pencil. If we go all electric, then that would be throwing billions of opportunities for so many people in the trash. I don’t know what I would do without a paper and pencil!
Reusing paper can do so much! It can help with water waste and fresher air. Think about it -- trees are what we need to breath! We cannot keep taking for granted the paper that we have. We also should not be throwing it to waste! Paper recycling and reusing can help save the U.S from turning into a garbage truck!

5. Water Waste And Pollution!
Do you want toxic, polluted water, to swim in, to fish in, and to drink? I guess I will just answer that for you. You do not. In just a few years this may be reality unless we do something about it! Unless we stop tossing our chip bags on the beach and old water bottles in the ocean! The ocean is yes, a big issue here, but lakes, ponds, rivers, and just little streams count too! The water pollution is making animals sick! Including us! When we swim in the toxic, polluted water, we too can get sick! Stop this polluting nonsense and start making sense by keeping our waters clean!
Water waste is from leaving the faucet on, 25 minute showers, sprinklers, trust me, I could go on and on, but these are some of the most powerful water waste items. People do not not notice or really understand this problem but while you read about it right now, water supply is going down. We need water to survive and with all of it slowly, gallon by gallon, dripping into the disgusting sewer or getting pumped into the ocean, it’s causing the ocean to have that now yucky filth infesting its salty water.
GO TURN OFF THE FAUCET!

6. Water Waste And Pollution
Sooner or later our oceans will look like this. Polluted and dangerous. The waste gets washed up on the beaches, then blows onto the streets above. This is how so much pollution starts! To stop this it is simple -- stop throwing trash on the beaches and in the water! Rivers, oceans, ponds,lakes, keep them clean!

7. Air and Land Pollution
Many just toss their trash out the window or on the sidewalk, not stopping to think, “What is this one piece of trash doing to our earth?” Well, one piece can do so much pollution! Have you ever been walking in the city and seen plastic bags lying around and car gas and exhaust turning the air and gray dirty color? We are breathing in that air! It is making us sick. Animals are getting caught in those torn plastic bags and beer can holders. Because of you! You are helping to make those animals endangered! There is a lot of pressure on you! You need to help save this world! Be a hero, not a litterer!
Do you know abou landfills? Well, if you do not, then let me explain them. They are awful villains that have piles of garbage and land pollution! They also contaminate the soil! That means that they pollute the soil and makes it sick. They are not only contaminating soil, but are contaminating the water in the ground.
Methane is a greenhouse gas that is 21 times more powerful than carbon dioxide (CO2). As you may know, greenhouse gasses are said to be the leading cause of global warming. Landfill methane is created when organic materials (such as food scraps, paper, and yard waste) decompose.
