Studied Tailoring in London and worked as fitting model
before start of design career in 1929.
Worked with several designers including:

Glenhurst
Launched her career in 1935 with a goal of making soft tailored suits for ladies.

4. 1943 Jumpsuit originally designed for male factory workers were modified to fit women that worked the factories during WW2
