2 CAUSES The Second World War arose as a result of the confrontation between ideologies. In this war, three opposing ideologies had to face each other: Democratic liberalism, Nazi-fascism and Soviet communism. These last two systems, however, opposed to each other. Secondly, there were ethnic problems which got worse by the border modifications created by the Treaty of Versailles, which negatively affected Germany and Austria.

3 CHARACTERISTICS The II World War started in 1939 and ended in 1945
In the II World War different types of allied started. We also have the axis that this axis was formed by: Japan, Germany and Italy. The most known case of extermination was the Jewish by Hitler, but more dictators did the same.

9 The second most affected country was Germany, which received large groups of German-born population and was retained in the Eastern zone until that time(3 million people). Differences in development stimulated the population of the poor countries of the East to move to those in the European Union, including those in the Mediterranean region. Where did they migrate?

10 CONSEQUENCES There were 8 million people that left their houses and went to another country because their country was in war. Germany was the country with more people in exile, more than 10% in their country. At first, most countries didn’t open their doors to the immigrants which caused social confllicts and refugees issues.
