To institutionalize ensuring that clients coming to CCAP for services know about TCI – especially focused on “a healthy start” for families with newborns, and “new children”
Social workers and case managers who help families – home visiting, Headstart/child care, health center - provide counseling about TCI as part of helping families plan for arrival of new baby/child
Develop an outreach plan for dissemination of TCI information for all clients

Illness, injury, impairment, or physical or mental condition that involves inpatient care or continued treatment or supervision by a licensed health care professional at home

Identified need for a screening tool to get a sense of whether mom qualifies for TDI/TCI and estimated wage replacement amount

8. State and Community Partnership
The RI Department of Health administers many of the programs that CCAP provides to new parents
CCAP work can inform best practices at other sites and Health staff can inform best practices at CCAP
