5 Growth Mindset Success can be achieved with a growth mindset.
Thoughts: “How good you are at sports will always improve if you work hard at it.” “To be successful in sports, you need to learn techniques and skills and practice them regularly.”

6 Champions We like to think of our champions and idols as superheroes who were born different from us. We don’t like to think of them as relatively ordinary people who made themselves extraordinary. Why not? That is what they are and that is so much more amazing!

8 Character Character is an important concept in the sports world, and it comes out of the growth mindset. It gives athletes the ability to reach down inside in difficult sports matches.

12 Finding #1: Those with the growth mindset found success in doing their best, in learning and improving. This is exactly what we find in the champions. Finding #2: Those with the growth mindset found setbacks motivating. They’re informative. They’re a wake-up call. Finding #3: People with the growth mindset in sports (as in pre-med chemistry) take charge of the process that brings success – and then maintain it.
