Legend:
Audiogram obtained from testing LT in the sound field using warble tone stimuli and play audiometry techniques. His binaural unaided responses (B) indicate a profound hearing loss. Aided responses using a Phonic Ear 461 auditory trainer (T) and binaural Oticon E39L hearing aids (A) indicate limited functional gain in the low frequencies. In all test conditions, no responses were noted above 500 Hz at the limits of the audiometer.
