1. Macon County’s New Land Record Search “Lightmap”

2. Search Tab Click the Search tab. Drop the Search field down.
Type in the desired search and some pre-results will appear.

3. Here
While you are typing, if you see your desired field. You can click it and the search will go straight to it with out having to click search.
Lets go to on the Macon County search results.

4. Results
Here are the results for everything with Macon County in the name.
Page Number is at bottom
We also have a “Results Per Page” at the bottom.
At the top there is an Export button. Export the entire list to Excel or make a mailing list or make a tab-delimited file.
The Map Results function is not yet finished but once it is you will be able to click map results and show all the results on the map.
Lets now go to the tax information on one of the results.

We will now go back and to the Advanced search.

6. Advanced Search Click on the “Advanced” tab this page will appear.
There a number of search fields under Advanced.
Search by any one of these fields or add them together to refine your results.
Here is a basic search on acreage and township.

7. We have 4 results on acreage’s 250 to 500 in Ellijay township.
Just remember on the last page you can get very specific with your search.

8. Custom Search
Click the “Custom Search” tab this shaded area will appear first.
On the Custom page you can add as many filters to keep refining to search.
These boxes will drop down to give you more options to search by.
Set the fields to the desired information click “Add This Filter” button.
Add a “Spatial Filter” by parcel number here. This will search an area around that defined location.
Here are three that are already done.

9. It gave two results.
Also go to the GIS Map from here.
There is also a Help button as well.
Click the Refine Search Results page it will take you back to the basic search page.
