Reading: Launching into Fiction- Intro to the elements of stories/fictional texts
Writing: Organize topics and write brief compositions about topics of interest to students
Grammar: Nouns (Capital I and proper/common and names)
Word Study: Cont. High Frequency Words pre-assessments. Begin Buddy Study
Social Studies: Maps (coordinates, map key/legend, types of maps, compass rose, cardinal/intermediate directions)

9/29-District Musical –Sleeping Savannah Lakes Elementary 7pm
10/7-Feel Good Friday (students wear athletic wear and bring a healthy snack to promote health and wellness)

10/12-Fall pictures-individual and class

Please remember to look over and sign your child’s planner daily.
All transportation changes must be made to the office and note or sent to me.
Homework:
 Reading logs are to be fully completed on M-Th and turned in on or before Friday. Your child should be reading for at least 20 minutes daily.
Social Studies- given on Wednesday and turned on or before Friday.
